Chipper embodied all that is good in the world.  In spite of his rough life prior to coming into rescue with Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid-Florida, you never saw him without a smile.  He always saw the glass half full....a lesson many of us could learn. Chipper only made it to Hip Dog once before cancer invaded his body.  Sadly, he made his trip to the Rainbow Bridge in May 2003 in the arms of his loving foster mom, Pam Strickland (pictured above).  However, Chipper lives on and Pam has stated many times that his one day at Hip Dog was the best day of his short life and she feels his spirit every time she takes his "sister", Maggie there.
