ABOUT HIP DOG
Hip Dog Canine Hydrotherapy & Fitness is Central Florida's first and oldest
canine hydrotherapy facility. We have been providing swim therapy to dogs in the
Metro Orlando area since 2001. Hip Dog is dedicated to providing the best possible
hydrotherapy care for the best possible outcome for our swimming clients.
Our primary focus is
- pre-operative & post-operative swim therapy for dogs with primary areas of neurological & orthopedic issues (hip dysplasia, FHO, ACL, BLP, fractures, degenerative joint disease)
- Fitness & conditioning swim for canine athletes, show dogs, & working dogs
- Gentle therapeutic swim & massage for dogs with arthritis, spinal stenosis, & senior ages
- Gentle & fun introduction swim lessons for puppies
- Water safety & swim lessons for all dogs (parents included in class)
All swim sessions are specifically tailored to each dog. All dogs are required to have veterinary clearance for swimming. Pre-operative & post-operative dogs are required to have veterinary referral in order to facilitate & coordinate proper recovery management.
