BEAU is a 2 1/2 year old rescued racing greyhound who came to Hip Dog to regain mobility and muscle mass in his left hind leg after suffering a life-threatening bite from either a poisonous snake or spider. After several pain-filled months of lavage and debriding, he began intensive aquatic therapy under the compassionate care of Hip Dog therapists, Tom Nowicki and Kristina Latimer. Beau continues his weekly session for conditioning as he races toward a full recovery. He's now on staff at Hip Dog where he does a greyt job as the official Meet & Greet Host. |
